Farm Shop & Deli Retailer Awards finalists revealed
52 businesses from across the UK now being in line to win best in category, best in region and the overall accolade of Retailer of the Year.
The shortlist for the Farm Shop & Deli Retailer Awards has been announced, with 52 businesses from across the UK now being in line to win best in category, best in region and the overall accolade of Retailer of the Year. The awards are renowned for recognising and rewarding some of the UK’s best loved specialist retailers, who are champions of great produce and sustainable practice.
The selected businesses span seven categories: Butcher, Delicatessen, Farm Shop Large, Farm Shop Small, Independent local shop/Village store, Online Business and Other Specialist Retailer. In addition, the panel went on to select the Newcomer of the Year finalists.
'A real buzz'
Judge Matt Whelan said: “The awards finalist announcement has a real buzz to it. It’s great to be there and celebrate the achievements within our industry, network and learn from our colleagues.”
The winners will be announced on 7th April at the Farm Shop & Deli Show. The event will be held until 9th April at NEC Birmingham.
