CARPIGIANI INTRODUCES SMART+ FROZEN DRINK MACHINE

Carpigiani is serving operators a way to control their frozen beverages with the Smart+ machine, developed by Spanish manufacturer V Air.  By connecting a Smatr+ unit to the V Air Connect app, operators can better understand frozen drinks served in venue thanks to data-driven insights. 

As the first European company to develop an app that allows users to manage machines from a smartphone via Bluetooth, V Air has developed the V Air Connect app for its Smart and Dream models. It is available for download for Android and iOS on Play Store and App Store, and will soon work via Wi-Fi too. 

Once the machine is connected to the app, the home screen allows users to view or change its main work functions. The technology also offers instant information about the machine at the touch of a button, increasing the efficiency of staff in charge of the machine. 

With the app, users can choose to have full control of their operation, as well as of the machine's appearance – from colour changes, light intensity and scheduled working hours, to accessing complete information about the machine's live performance and activity history. Its Cyclic Reverse Technology ensures frozen cocktails are perfectly served every time as it reverses the bowl mixer every 10 minutes to break down large crystal formations. 'Hot gas' technology also helps to defrost the machine and speeds up cleaning.
