DOBBIES APPOINT LEADERSHIP TEAM FOR NEW STORE

Ahead of a new Dobbies site opening in Northern Ireland, the company has announced its general manager, Ken Ferguson, who will head up team of 120 people.

Planned as the largest Dobbies site at 110,000 square feet, the new opening in Antrim will provide new opportunities for garden centre caterers looking to either start or continue their cheffing career.

The new site will feature a restaurant, retail area and a coffee shop.

Ferguson has been with Dobbies for more than thirteen years, working in both Aberdeen and Lisburn stores. Joining the general manager is Jenny Campbell, newly-appointed operations manager.

"This is a huge opportunity to manage the largest Dobbies store to date, and one I am very much looking forward to," says Ferguson. "We are excited to welcome our customers through the doors later this year to what will be a new Dobbies shopping experience with a wide retail offering, restaurant and coffee shop onsite."
