Celebrity gardener and BBC presenter Adam Frost cut the ribbon to officially open British Garden Centres’ new Grantham Garden Centre on Good Friday. The UK’s largest family-run garden centre group acquired the former Downtown Garden Centre site at Gonerby Moor at the end of January.

The restaurant has been fully revitalised with a fresh look and a redesigned menu, offering a wider range of options for every appetite. A highlight of the transformation is a brand-new on-site carvery, providing the ideal setting for a relaxed family lunch after a morning exploring the centre.

‘Invested significantly’
Amy Stubbs, managing director of British Garden Centres, said: “Acquiring this site was an exciting moment for us, but what the team has achieved in transforming it in such a short space of time has been truly remarkable. We have invested significantly in making sure Grantham has a garden centre that matches the very best in our group, and we are confident that local families are going to love what we have created.”
