Farm retailers that are leading the way in the UK are vying for prestigious national recognition as finalists in the 2026 Farm Retail Awards. Thriving farm shops, cafés, restaurants, butcheries, farmers’ markets and pick-your-own businesses based across the home nations are among those that have been selected as the best in their industry by the Farm Retail Association (FRA).

The eight award categories celebrating the buoyant farm retail scene across the UK include the Rising Star Award, the Farm Shop Butchery of the Year Award, Large Farm Shop of the Year (turnover over £1.5m), Small Farm Shop of the Year (turnover under £1.5m) and Associate Member of the Year. The finalists include Denstone Hall Farm Shop and Café, Craigies Farm and Suffolk Food Hall.

Following a three-stage judging process including visits from fellow farm retailers, the finalists will find out if they have been named as winners at a glittering awards ceremony. It will be held at Cedar Court Hotel in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, on 11th March.

'The very best of British farm retail'
Emma Mosey, chair of the FRA, said: “Each of our finalists represents the very best of British farm retail, from outstanding farm shops and skilled butchers to welcoming cafés and the dedicated businesses that support them. Together, they showcase the innovation, passion and community connection that defines our sector.”
