Rossato in at Electrolux Professional

Electrolux Professional has appointed Ricardo Rossato, who has over 25 years’ experience in the foodservice industry, as head of food sales for UK and Ireland. He joins after spending 13 years at Rational in various roles, most recently as business development manager in the UK and Ireland.

The appointment comes as part of the business’s plans to double market share in the region over the next four years. The aim is to drive this via the ongoing development of products that meet evolving end-user needs.

Rossato said: “I am excited to join Electrolux Professional at such a pivotal time in the organisation’s growth journey. To achieve our ambitions, engaging with customers to better understand their specific challenges and goals will be key.” 

Alexander Pierrou, vice president Nordics and UK and Ireland, added: “Among many strong candidates, Ricardo stood out for his deep industry expertise and passion for the sector, in combination with his people leadership skills. These will be instrumental as he and the wider team accelerate our growth strategy in the UK and Ireland.”
