Dobbies’ buyer to return to Chelsea Flower Show

Dobbies Garden Centres’ senior houseplant buyer, Claire Bishop, will be returning to the prestigious position of chair of assessors for the third time at this year’s RHS Chelsea Flower Show.

Dobbies Garden Centres’ senior houseplant buyer, Claire Bishop, will be returning to the prestigious position of the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS)’s chair of assessors for the third time at this year’s RHS Chelsea Flower Show. She will reassume this leading role from 18th May, followed by being responsible for supervising the moderation and assessors at RHS Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival.

'Always an honour'
Bishop's role will include evaluating, grading and guiding the judges, as well as ensuring consistency and fairness. She said: “It’s always an honour being recognised by the Royal Horticultural Society, and I’m excited to be part of this year’s show season once again.”
